Pinback at the Stanley Hotel
Friday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 15, The Stanley Hotel, 333 E. Wonderview Ave., Estes Park. $65+

The Stanley Hotel isn’t just for ghost tours. San Diego indie rock outfit Pinback performs for three straight nights at the legendary venue, featuring Disheveled Cuss, Hasco Enjoyments and Systems Officer. For the full experience, book a night at the hotel for exclusive access to after parties featuring additional sets from the supporting acts. 

Nature Adventure Day: Tracks in the Snow
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, Wild Bear Nature Center, 20 Lakeview Dr., Nederland. $85

Looking to keep your little ones entertained while the kids are out of school? The folks at Wild Bear Nature Center have got you covered. Drop off your kiddo for a full day of engaging outdoor studies at Mud Lake and the surrounding areas where they'll learn all about identifying animal tracks in the snow.   

Ned Library 25th Anniversary Gala
7-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, Nederland Community Library, 200 Highway 72, Nederland. $35

Pair your wine and cheese with notes of old book smell at the library’s 25th anniversary celebration. Indulge in wine, appetizers and sweets while you place your bids in the rare book silent auction to support the Nederland Community Library Foundation (and be sure to say hi to Nederland’s inaugural poet laureate, Karen Auvinen). And bring those dancing shoes; Mountain Reverb will be bringing the noise to the quiet space. 

The Brothers Comatose at the Caribou Room
7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, The Caribou Room, 55 Indian Peaks Dr., Nederland. $30

Blending Americana, folk and traditional bluegrass, the Brothers Comatose have established themselves as a standout in the world of roots music since the band's founding in 2008 by brothers Ben and Alex Morrison. Don’t miss the San Francisco-based outfit when they perform at the Caribou Room with Colorado’s own Slay and Stinson, winners of the 2025 Rockygrass Band Competition.

Adult Makers Club
5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, Nederland Community Library, 200 CO-72. Free 

Calling all artists, crafters, hobbyists and tinkerers! This monthly arts program co-hosted by Nederland Community Library Assistant Director Jessie Ansari and artist Leah DeCapio of Spirits of the Rocks features rotating sessions to facilitate community connection while working with clay, paint, leather, fabric and more. 

Full Moon Tour and Dinner Series
5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, Eldora Mountain Resort, 2861 Eldora Ski Rd., Nederland. $99

Grab your skis or split board and your season pass for a chance to shred in the moonlight. Leave from the Caribou Lodge for two hours of semi-guided after-hours runs, then return for a full chef-prepared dinner and live music. The only thing left to do is pray to the Snow Gods for fresh powder.

Winter Walkabout Music Showcase
2-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, Multiple venues throughout downtown Longmont. $44-$50

One ticket gets you access to an all-day, non-stop concert featuring 100 local musicians. Spend the day hopping and bopping from venue to venue (16 in all) to catch as many of the 50-plus performances as you can. Then hit up the official afterparty hosted by DJ Drake, where you can dance, drink and dine until you drop.

Brush with Grief 
1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Boulder Public Library - Main Branch, 1001 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder. Free

Brushmaking, storytelling and grounding techniques are the three pillars of this mixed-age workshop exploring the subject of grief. Materials will be provided to help you craft your own personal brush from animal fur, woods and plants. You’re free to bring your own mementos of a lost pet or loved one to include in your piece. No experience necessary. 

Banff Center Mountain Film Festival
7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 to Wednesday, Feb. 18, Boulder Theater, 2032 14th St. $25+

Come see mountain cinema at its finest as one of the world’s largest mountain film festivals returns for its annual stop in Boulder. The Banff Center Mountain Film Festival tour features handpicked outdoor films from peaks, canyons and backcountry camps around the world. Grab tickets for all three nights to scratch that adventure cinephile itch.

Black Futures in Art Exhibition Opening
5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut St., Boulder. Free  

Celebrate Black History Month with this annual exhibition of visual works by artists from Colorado and beyond. Curated by Lafayette-based visual artist Adderly Grant-Lord and running through March 29, Black Futures in Art “considers how memory, land, body, and ancestry carry stories forward, and how art becomes a conduit for community, reflection, and dialogue around the past, present, and future.”

Central City Opera Teaser
5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, Wellshire Event Center, 3333 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver. $175

Get a sneak peak of the 2026 season at this annual fundraiser to keep Central City and its famed Opera House Garden in full bloom. Enjoy an extended cocktail hour (dress to impress) before the evening’s performance: three selections and a surprise aria picked by supporters in a rework of the Opera’s beloved Salad Ballad tradition.

Colorado Environmental Film Festival
Tuesday, Feb. 20 through Thursday, Feb. 22, Colorado School of Mines - Green Center, 924 16th St., Golden. 

Don’t miss the 25th anniversary of the Colorado Environmental Film Festival, “celebrating the power of film to inspire, educate and motivate people to protect and preserve the environment.”  This annual cinematic showcase features more than 60 films from around the world, along with opportunities to learn, network and get involved in climate action.
