Fall is right around the corner, and it’s time to adjust our music choices accordingly. It should be no surprise that the new album from seasonally appropriate "sad girl" superstar Phoebe Bridgers is topping the charts at Paradise Found Records & Music (1646 Pearl St.) this month — but summer is still hanging on, so you’ll find the sunny sounds of British dance-pop outfit Jungle not far behind.

STAFF PICK: Glera by Marco Benevento
“Benevento swings effortlessly on his latest album Glera, pulling from Afrobeat, carnival, samba, lounge and beyond without ever losing the soul of the songs. His production chops — honed through work with Clairo and Leon Bridges — are on full display, proving he’s as much a master behind the board as he is at tickling the ivories. A kaleidoscope of textures makes this a playful, adventurous listen, and you can hear just how much fun he’s having along the way. – Patrick Selvage, vinyl buyer
