STAFF PICK: SPLAT! by Deep Purple
"Deep Purple have returned with their 24th studio album, SPLAT! Ian Paice and Roger Glover provide a strong foundation for the rest of the band to build on and shine; Ian Gillan's lyrics paint a satirical picture of show business, the establishment and the world as a whole. The best part of the album, though, is the sonic journey of guitars and keyboards Don Airey and Simon McBride take the listener on. This album proves that the gents in Deep Purple are far from slowing down." – Sean Rourke, assistant manager
